7 Habits Of Highly Effective People
In continuation to the previous post now we will discuss all the 7 habits in detail so that you can grasp them easily and can apply to your life and become a leader of your life.
Being proactive means taking charge of your life into your hand , means you and only you are responsible for the actions and reactions in your life no one other will be.
Most of the times we come across such situations where we overreacts because of our reactive nature and sometimes we may get a big loss due to this nature .
The difference between reactive people and a proactive people is that :-
- A reactive person first takes action and then think whereas a proactive person first thinks about his action and then react.
- A reactive persons control is not in his hand anyone can make his mood on or off , whereas the proactive person have their control in their hand and no one can change his mood accordingly.
- A reactive person always blames others for his wrong decisions or behaviour and never admits his fault always been sad thinking "I am like this only and i can't change " , whereas the proactive one's always admits their fault takes responsibility of their actions and improve themselves so that they shall not repeat that mistake in future and become a better version of themselves and this lead them towards the perfection and success.
In simple words being proactive means you are the driver of your life and its moves depends on your actions . Don't let anyone else to drive your life otherwise you will be in trouble.
Begin with end in mind means that always set a destination before starting a journey otherwise you will reach somewhere else instead to your destination.
If you want to achieve something in your life, the first and foremost thing is to set that goal , then define a process and work accordingly and you will definitely reach to your goal . If you do not set your goal or you do not have a clear vision of what you wanted to be in your life then no matters how much hard work you do you will not reach to your goal or destination and all the hard-work just wasted out.
So analysing ourselves proactively we can figure out our wrong habits and can improve them and also can set our goals more effectively and can become , what we wanted to be not what others wanted us to be .
So use yourself to fulfill your dreams otherwise anyone else will use you to fulfill their dreams .
Another most important thing is about whom your life is centered at :-

because a principle centered person will automatically do well in all aspects of life and in all these centers.

We always has lot many work to do but all the works are not equally important we always have to prioritize our work in order to do the most important things first and the less important ones later .
So we can divide our work in four parts :-
- The Procrastinator : - Become a procrastinator for those works which are not at all important and without whom your life can't be affected .
- The Prioritizer :- Prioritize the daily , weekly and monthly work and tasks according to their importance .
- The Yes Man :- Always do the urgent things first .
- The Slacker :- Leave the habits which are wasting your time .
After deciding the goal the next most important thing is time management and focus during the process to reach that goal . So this habit taught us to priorities our work and tasks according to their importance so that we can focus on our goal and give maximum time to it.
During the process of achieving our goal we have to focus on our goal and have to give maximum time to it without getting bored so that we can use our time effectively and efficiently .
For this we can use 80-20 principle or pareto principle which taught us to work for 80 min. and then rest for 20 min. so that our mind again gets recharged for next 80 minutes.
The Author explains the several paradigms of human interactions regarding the relationships between the two or more people and also suggested the best method to create a better relationship for longer time whether it is relationships in business or in any another aspect of life.
The best one is Win - Win it means that both parties or person are satisfied and beneficial with the actions or steps taken , it helps the two to encourage each other ,support each other , trust each other and helps in maintaining the relation for longer time.
In all other situations we don't care about our partners and don't do the fair sharing of profit or any other thing . This creates a negative impact on your partners and your relationship will become less effective with your partners and they starts to distrust you , and your relationship will no longer be feasible with them .
Seek first to understand and to be understood means first listen others generously and be serious about their problems and suggest solutions to them .
If you take interest in others then only you can think that they will generously listen you and to be interested in you .
It the best way to interact with some is first to listen them take interest in their ideas , be generous towards their problem and then suggest solutions . Talking about their interest will interest them in you and then only you can share your problem or ideas with them .
Synergize means working in a team with much more ideas and the ignited minds is much better than working alone .
It is always be fruitful to be work in a team because you alone can not handle all the things alone because a person can be a master in 2-3 things , but in everything it's impossible . So working in a team not only gives more hands but more minds with lots of ideas and perfections in their particular task . Brain - Storming is the best way to make your product or services more and more effective and brain-storming in a team always finds most of the possible errors in our product and services .
The advantages of Synergy are :
We become more stronger when we are together , when we are united and working for the same goal and having the same agenda.
More number of hands means more encouragement , more perfection , more feedback
much better communication .
Sharpen the saw means if we want to do something in lesser amount of time then firstly we must have extraordinary knowledge about that thing and then we can do as fast as our capacity is. It surely take more time to cut a tree with bold blade than a sharp blade like this the author appeals us to sharpen our skills first before doing any particular work because it will make us more efficient in that particular task and we can finish our work in lesser amount and can save our lot of precious time.
So Author appeals to upgrade ourselves physically , mentally ,emotionally and socially as well so that we can do well in all aspects of life.
Tips to upgrade ourselves :
